Immunomodulatory effects of mesenchymal stem cells on B and T cells

چکیده

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or adult multipotent progenitor with the ability to self-renew and differentiate, are extracted from a variety of tissues, including bone marrow, adipose tissue, umbilical cord blood, Wharton’s jelly, tooth pulp, menstrual others. Since they multipotent, cultured MSCs can differentiate into adipogenic, chondrogenic, osteogenic lineages after being isolated. Due their immunomodulatory, immunosuppressive, regenerative potentials, mesenchymal have received extensive scrutiny as an efficient tool for cell-based therapy inflammatory, immune-mediated, degenerative illnesses. been subject numerous preclinical clinical research that looked therapeutic potential. This potential is primarily supported by MSCs' immunosuppressive characteristics. Even while there still much learn about characteristics MSC transplantation, mounting evidence suggests T B undergo changes infusion, most notably induction regulatory (Tregs) (Bregs) cells. Tregs Bregs shown exhibit properties, these considered novel targets inflammatory disorders.

Immunomodulatory Effects of Mice Mesenchymal Stem Cells on Maturation and Activation of Dendritic Cells

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) possess a wide range of immunomodulatory functions mostly in immune cells including dendritic cells (DCs). DCs are the key cells in the immune response and play an important role in initiating cell-mediated immunity. Objective: To evaluate the immunomodulatory effects of MSCs supernatant on maturation and function of DCs. Methods: Bone marrow derived m...

TGF-Β1 Transduced Mesenchymal Stem Cells Have Profound Modulatory Effects on DCs and T Cells

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) molecules are well known for their immunomodulatory properties and their function in tissue regeneration and remodeling. Objectives: To evaluate the interaction of TGF-β1 engineered MSCs with T cells and dendritic cells (DCs) and their modulatory effect on the immune response. Methods: MSCs and DCs were generat...

Immunomodulatory Effect of Mesenchymal Stem Cells on B Cells

The research on T cell immunosuppression therapies has attracted most of the attention in clinical transplantation. However, B cells and humoral immune responses are increasingly acknowledged as crucial mediators of chronic allograft rejection. Indeed, humoral immune responses can lead to renal allograft rejection even in patients whose cell-mediated immune responses are well controlled. On the...

Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Interactions with Immune Cells and Immunosuppressive-Immunomodulatory Properties

Abstract Background and Objectives Recently, mesenchymal stem cells have attracted much attention in regenerative medicine and cell-based therapies. Mesenchymal stem cells are used in regenerative medicine mainly based on their capacity to differentiate into several cell lineages, low immunogenicity, and in particular their anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive-immunomodulatory properties. ...
